SEPA is Scotland’s principal environmental regulator. But we do much more than solely regulate. Our overall aim is to protect our environment and human health, and contribute to sustainable economic growth. We are currently working to modernise our Facilities service. This role will manage a team of Facilities Co-ordinators to ensure an efficient and effective service across the business.

In this role you’ll lead the development of a first class facilities service, working closely with the Facilities team and developing effective working relationships with local managers and customers alike. You’ll focus on improving systems, processes and the service the team provides. What’s more, you’ll contribute to our national working groups – helping them to formulate and implement change and improvements right across the organisation’s facilities.
Alongside considerable facilities management experience, you’ll need excellent communication skills, strong people management skills and a relevant degree level qualification or equivalent. You must also have a comprehensive understanding of legislation relating to facilities management – and, ideally, an understanding of SEPA’s objectives too.

Interviews for this vacancy will be held on Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 August.
