Work that goes beyond your desk
Experts at what we do, we work in a professional way towards our shared goals, knowing the work we do makes a genuine, lasting difference on the environment. As Charging Manager, that involves…

• Providing strategic engagement and policy advice in the Governance, Performance and Engagement Portfolio
• Identification of changes within environmental and wider legislative landscape that could impact onto SEPA’s charging schemes (e.g. Government policy etc.).
• Lead on all project work associated with the development and review of any charging schemes including the development of project plans and monitoring of progress.
• Embed significant legislation and regulation in the scheme itself
Respect for your expertise
This is a highly important role within our Governance, Performance & Engagement portfolio. The post will lead the review, design and development of the implementation of the SEPA Charging Scheme, which means you’ll need…
• Strong project management skills with experience in influencing business system development, able to undertake complex analysis and modelling

• A passion for Stakeholder relations. You will engage at company and industry sector level with a natural flair for influencing, brokering and negotiating with third parties. You will participate in Public Consultations and strategic engagement.
