We are seeking an exceptional, full time financial professional to join our Charging and Income Team as a Senior Finance Business Partner (Income) on a permanent basis.

This new role is pivotal in managing SEPA’s funding, you will be the primary point of contact on financial matters in relation to income and cost accounting and use a wide range of financial knowledge to provide advice and direction to a range of stakeholders.

Work that goes beyond your desk


The Senior Finance Business Partner (Income) will play a crucial role in enhancing SEPA's financial management and governance. You will be responsible for building and maintaining collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing financial advice and support, and driving continual improvement in financial processes and reporting. You will also:

  • Build and maintain collaborative, customer-focused relationships with stakeholders, including SEPA’s Corporate Leadership Team, Chief Executive, internal budget holders, and external bodies

  • Provide professional advice and recommendations on financial governance, cost recovery, and income generation

  • Develop and maintain charging schemes, financial reporting, and management information systems

  • Ensure SEPA’s charges are compliant with relevant financial manuals and legislation

  • Manage and maintain the costing ledger, producing financial reports and management information

  • Develop financial models and conduct comprehensive financial analysis

  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports and presentations to stakeholders

We seek a CCAB-qualified Accountant to join our Finance department. The ideal candidate should possess a background in cost accounting and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Additionally, experience in team management is preferred.
